Great first capture of so beautiful blue gai Sebastien with amazing point of view and colors.

I like it a lot: composition, POV, DOF, focus, sharpness, color, lighting, background, framing.

I like it: notes.

I don't like it: nothing to grumble.

It is a very attractive shot with the great contrast between the bird and your environment.

What a charming capture!
The pose you caught it in here is simply amazing and adorable!
All the details are clear and sharp, the lighting is excellent and the fill-in effect of the flash is impeccable controlled.
Also the colors are lovely and well saturated, the low POV is excellent and the DOF is great!
A beautiful composition!

would have cloned the blurred peanut at the edge as it is distracting IMhO; I think it would enhance the beautiful image.

Salut Sébastien,
Il est beau et bien détaillé ce geai. J'aime bien les reflets du flash sur ce bleu (qui est en fait du noir mais bon, ça s'est une autre histoire;) et cette belle luminosité créé par la neige. La composition est bonne mais en effet l'avant-plan aurait pu être coupé un peu c'est pourquoi j'ai indiqué ce WS "utile". J'ai déjà essayé les arachides moi aussi juste pour voir mais j'ai dû arrêter, ils viraient fous... J'en ai tellement naturellement qu'avec les arachides, ils viennent presque agressifs et ils viennent en trop grand nombre. Comme ils errent naturellement à chaque jour dans les parages, je n'ai pas vraiment besoin de ça pour les attirer.

Belle photo et félicitations pour ton premier geai, tu dois être content ;)
