Indeed this is a splendid place and it's woth capturing at every magical moment...just like this wonderful sunrise.
Te reflections on the sky are quite amazing, like you said, and the small waves from the FG disperse the light reflected by the water very nicly here, too.
I also like the overall composition, the good choise for the exposure and the colros...of course :)

Red sky in morning sailors take warning. Another start to the day shot with great composition, and colors. The small wave breaking at you feet is nice. Thanks for sharing.

You have selected shooting moment very well. We can see rich colour range from daily to nightly colours. Captured scene is very nice as well as the sun raises reflections in the water. Beautiful and pleasant work. My compliments and TFS.

I can almost FEEL the LIGHT on this photo!!
The warmth and the brilliance, that makes this piece come alive!!
Another of MY personal favorites, I think.
I like the dark shape of the rocks in the FG;
they surely add a nice dimension to the total
photo!!

Thanks for this fantastic sunrise. It is definitively one of those photos which prove that rules are not always correct and there is room for creativity.

The 50-50 composition worked wonderful since there is amazing clouds that filled the complete sky area in the top ½ and the bottom ½ were filled with the lovely reflections on the water surface plus the bit of action from the splashing water on the rocks. Thus, there were no empty spaces that could bore the eye which sometimes even happens when the 1/3 rule was slavishly followed. The colours were well captured and reproduced, the details are nice and sharp all the way to infinity, and the exposure was perfectly managed.

PS. Forgive my ignorance, but does the reference to Petroshark suggest the location or does it have anything to do with the 2 triangular rocks?

Your sunset is beautiful: nice composition, excellent colours and just ther right contrast. i can really feel the atmosphere, and that's the whole point, right?
