Great close-up of this mute swan.
A very good POV wich let us appeciate with good detail feathers, and specially the gorgeous skin texture between beak and eye.
My only observation would be the upper head crop, I dont know if the original frame has more space around, or if it was cut in the crop.
Anyways, a great work done,

This is a remarkably sharp image with great handlingof the exposure. About how far do you figure you can be from your subject with that lens and still get a decent photo when you crop it? I think I expect too much from my lenses, but am not sure what is reasonable.

Hi Sky

Another excellent portrait of a swan. This one sure has great facial details; that eye is alive and has a beautiful little catch light, while the beak, nose, and the black area shows stunning contrasts as well.

The close cropped composition work wonderful here, the colours are great, good DOF, and perfect lighting that showed the plumage very well.

Another wonderful portrait from you!
I like the POV here and the charming and rather original angle between the head of the swan and the camera.
Also the details are very clear and crispy sharp, the natural colors are wonderful and the good lighting enhanced all those featureas.
Very nicly framed and composed, too.
