The black-capped Chickadee, Parus Atricapillus.

So much has been written up on this species, for more info, look throughout the site, you can't miss it.
The Dee can be friendly when it wants to be, feeding out of your hand, landing on your head when calling it or landing on your bow string when practicing archery. I've never had them feed out of my hand but the rest, sure have.
I like this capture of the Dee alot more then the other posting I did a while back. His pose shows pride. That's why I like the POV, just right for his stature. The sunlight in the eye is striking as it is normaly hard to see the eye because of the black head, all blend in well.
It was suggested that the Cyan color of the wire be reduced in saturation, so I did. It's the only manipulation on this photo.
Hope it is to your liking.
Had the bedroom window open as it was a nice day which is unusual for this time of year.
Maybe about eight feet away, hand held the Fuji compact S5000 10x zoom, composed the shot and voila.

In Photoshop Elements, worked on Tiff, adjusted the midtone, desaturated cyan color of wire, resized and saved as jpeg for web.

Very good composition and good details on the bird.
The backlight didn't help you in this picture, the chest is little bit 'cooked' because of the right exposure on the rest of the body.
I don't know about the camera, but one of the solutions is using fill in flash.

A nice capture on the Chickadee. Well composed and framed. The color and detail are also very good. PP was good to enhance this nice shot.

A splendid shot and exposure of this cousin of the tit, and the wirw, weel, it looks like a wire, good job in the PP.
Maybe a bit of cloning on the hot white on the chest? Nice OOF BG too.
