[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This Whitetail Deer family froze when they were caught in the open, this is in attempt to be undetected, but as soon as they feel thier cover is blown they turn and run for cover with thier tails held high as a signal to the others. This family spun and disappeared into the trees behind them and they were gone in a flash. This photo was taken in the morning near Ressor Lake in the Cypress Hills Provincial Park. This photo was cropped.

Hi Rick,
I must say their technique to remain undetected is pretty good as i had trouble making them out in the thumbnail.This image puts the animals their environment beautifully.

These are your friends again! I love the way they all look at you, they seem very curious :) This is a cute and nice picture. They don't really stand out from the BG here but it is normal. Maybe a little more contrast would have help? I really like this POV and the way you composed this image. Well seen! Thanks,

This is a great capture of all three looking directly at you. I like seeing the deer in their environment. I like the birch woods. I feel the image could use a little more range in values. It is pretty heavy on mid tones. I did a quick workshop.
