[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I just wish you could see their breath in the picture. Now that would be a photo!! Oh well, something thing else to shoot for.

You could see their breath in person but I could not capture it though the lens, anyone have any tips, does it just have to be colder? It was about –10 degrees Celsius when I took this one.

well what can i say, this is just fantastic. The composition, the expression on his face, right down to the excellent exposure control of the snow.

Hi Brain,
Not sure how to capture the vapor of their breath. I think it is cold enough. It must have to do with pushing the buton at the correct moment. Anyway, the moment captured is beautiful and kinda intimate. Excellent work on the composition and the DOF.

These two are SO beautiful. I love your wolf photos. I know it would have been difficult, but I would like to see all of the right side wolf or none of him. There is such nice natural framing on the lying wolf, that cropping out the second wolf might leave a stunning portrait. Thanks for sharing these magnificent animals. I think the endless challenge and attraction of wildlife photography is capturing that special pose, or unusual activity or breath vapor. It's what can make this a life-long hobby.
