[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is where the road to Cameron Lake ends in winter. Well, it's as far as it is plowed, anyway. It's a great opportunity for some cross-country skiing.

PP: A resize, contrast adjustment, reframe, and USM.

Hi Mike,
Great PoV, very nicely composed landscape picture.
Great winter colors.
Great shot.

Nice shot Mike,
The end of the road..great winter scene, nice view of the mountains ahead.
Reminds of me of an old saying.
"There are no shortcuts to any place worth going". :)

Hi Mike,
Very nice landscape shot. I like pov that the road points directly to the mountain ridge and higher still to the snow covered peak. Excellent composition, sharpness, and exposure.

Hi Mike,
That looks like the perfect CC ski trail! Stunning scenery. Great colors, detail, and sense of depth. I am heading back own to Florida in a couple weeks, so I'll give you beach scenes.

Hi Mike,

excellent job on the colors and DOF
Make me want to go to Alberta and ski.

Hi Mike,
What a view. The road ending at the wonderful mountian created great depth and forces me to wonder in it. The clarity and the colors are perfect and give a sence of beeing there for real. Wonderful work on the exposure, except for the OE clouds. This would be a perfect situation for a grad ND filter, or just some merging of different exposures.

A rare sunny day. Great picture.
Not the case yesterday - we went out under really brutal weather and road conditions, but it was worth it!
Cheers

Nice POV Great exposure and nice colors. I may have tried shooting this at F3.5 to get some DOF near the end of the road. I know in most landscape we want most everything in focus but when it comes to roads, its sometimes nice to get that blurred effect towerd the end of the road. I don't think the mountains and trees would have looked bad a little oof. Thats only a suggestion because the photo at hand is a very beautifull scene.

Hi Mike,

A nice image of the road, of the forest and of the Rocky mountains, the photo has a good composition, DOF and nice colors. Thanks for sharing.
