That sure is a lucky day 'catching' these two species in one day. Lovely pose in natural environment. I saw Rob Fry's post and noticed it has a very fuzzy coat. Also in your picture well visible.

What a nice picture! Even if the snow is a little bit OE the exposition on the deer is very good. You cropped maybe a little bit too much at the left of the deer (or maybe it is the full frame picture)... I like the diagonal line of the tree and deer!

Congratulations on your fist deer ! I see a lot of deers each time I go in the forest, but I never managed to take a decent picture ! What a lucky day, indeed.

The POV creates a dramatic image. Composition is lovely and the detail just perfect, not overly sharpened, which would have given the subject a harsh look. White-tails in winter coat are soft looking. I salute your deer stalking skills, also, bravo!

A beautiful capture on this deer, I bet you were excited to get this shot, well done. I had forgotten you had looked at my photos almost a year ago in here. I do mostly Treklens since you have a little more freedom on waht you post there. All your photos here are impressive, sure like them. :} Don
