[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The clouds parted briefly long enough to get a couple of quick shots in before enveloping the mountians once again. Weather in this area can change very quickly so one must be adequately prepared.

Hello Tim,
A very representative winter shot.
I can't figured out how this looks like before clouds parted...
It's amazing the almost total color absence in this conditions, the only reference is the slightly blue traces on the sky.
I like the composition you made with the 3 pines, the snow and mountains behind.
I appreciate the effort to shot under this tough conditions.
Well done and best regards,
JM

Hi Tim,
Another excellent winter shot! I like the almost monochromatic display with a hint of blue in the sky. Where exactly was this shot? Is it the Hope near Manning Park. If yes, I've been there in 1999-great location for outdoors!
Best wishes,
Hakan

Hi Tim,
Beautiful posting, I like it all but the killer for me is the great composition using the portrait style.

I really like this series Tim. This is another nice one. I really like the composition with the trees framing the distant peaks. The snow, even for a dark snowy day, seems a little gray to me????

Hi Tim,
I just love that hint of blue and yellow in the sky. It gives a good reference that this really is a color photo, but it also shows some idea that the weather will change to the better. The way you positioned yourself to make that one tree stand out from the BG is perfect.

Hi Tim,
I'm not denying that it just got a bit chilly in my room ;) And I live in the country where sudden weather changes were invented so I know exactly what you mean. Anyway, nice composition and atmosphere well captured, TFS!
