This is a wonderful portrait of this lovely cormorant!
The POV here is great and the pose you managed to capture it in is excellent.
I also like the very good sharpness of the details - which makes all those feathers so well visible - and the superb contrast with the BG.
The exposure is spot-on and so the colors came out lovely and very well saturated. The DOF is exceptional, too, keeping all the bird in full-focus, but also blurring the BG very nicely.
Great framing and charming vertical composition.

Muy buena captura Gaetan por la agudeza de la imagen, los bellos e intensos colores logrados gracias a la correcta iluminación y el excelente DOF que aporta además del foco un apropiado fondo difuso.

Very good capture Gaetan for the sharpness of the image, the beautiful and intense colors achieved due to the correct illumination and excellent DOF that it contributes besides the focus an appropriate diffuse bottom.
The framing is in agreement with the point of view captured with sober frame to complete a great presentation.

I like so much the light here, and all details got on their feathers, beak, and specially the stunning green eye.

A lot of DOF due to your small aperture.
Actually the top of the beak is a bit softer but one should expect a lot more unsharpness.

Another amazing shot from you, the zoom of this cormorant head is so detailed, I love the emerald green eyes which seem contrast with it's black feather, good effect from the sun light also. The white frame make the picture more exclusive. Superb presentation
