| Here is a little muskrat that I put up today. The picture was taken in the same slough where I got the heron photo.Muskrats are small animals and only weight a kilogram or so and are one of two water loving rodents here in Canada, the other being the beaver. This photo was cropped, resized and colour boosted using Paint.Net. Hi Bob,
Very good POV to capture this scene!
I like the frontal approach, and the clear view of the plant beeing carried in his mouth.
It's a very appropiate exposure for this conditions.
I like also the waves generated all around the muskrat, and the way you composed them into the picture.
Very interesting your short note also.
Well done, thans for share and my best regards,
JM

Hi Bob,
Add to your note one of the meanest little cusses around.
This capture has great point of view and color. Thanks for sharing.
Rick
Another one where I forgot to critique! < Useful Note stayed >
I think I may know how now! It aint my machine!
Anyway I like this shot. I laughed when I saw it... Just look at the look on the rat's face!
Looks like he/she has a handlebar moustache!
I might suggest a wee crop... no not the "whiskers"...
A nice shot that deserves more attention which is always a bit of a challenge, not? Tfs, Jay
PS Check this one, it's a cousin...
