This is a classic mountain landscape Tim. It has a "film" look to it. It's a nice balanced composition. Thanks for sharing yet another place I will never see myself.

Hi Tim,
I remember landing at a similar lake in Idaho between Rexburg and the Grand Tetons. Brings back memories...

Hi Tim,
I'm there,what a peaceful looking location and only two days to get there,well worth the hike.The air must smell sweet and the water probably is wonderful to drink as well.Now people I know say to me that I shouldn't drink untreated water but I have and found mountain water to be the most excellent water that I have ever had,as long as it is cold and flowing it should not be a problem.One question, when you are out in a remote location such as this one,what do you do for batteries if yours run out?Anyway there is nothing about your photo that is wrong or lacking,it is fine as it is. This is truely outstanding!
The fact that i find very special to this photo is the feeling it gives the watcher...i raelly feel that i'm right up there, looking at this great view with my own eyes...and that's something VERY few shots have!
The overeall composition here is simply terrific!
I love the look of these streight trees everywhere, from the hear FG to the farthest slope...they are just wonderful! In this particular case, they also make a charming natural side framing to the shot :)
The colors and tones everywhere are lovely and very well saturated, the contrast and exposure are spot-on and the sharpness is truely impeccable.
All-in-all a splendid work!

Tim, two days of hiking, and only two dozen point, I can't believe it! I gasped when I saw this shot!

Looks like the fir trees are still getting their new growth(?)... What a vista and what marvelous colours. I think I understand your handle now! Thanx for hiking there AND then sharing! Jay
