aka "Eat and be eaten".
When it is cold outside, gray and dull to boot and threatening to snow, it is a good time to "brighten" the day
with some memories of summer. Herewith another shot of that perennial drama in nature: "Eat and be eaten".
Information about crabspiders is available at the opening and second shot of this sequence.
This Crab Spider, ( Misumena vatia ), is also known as a Flower Spider or Goldenrod Spider.
This photo was shot in much brighter conditions than the previous ones.

Hi Jay,
Crab spider eh, looks more like pig spider would be a better name. Capture has great details, color and composition. Subject must have a big stomach. Thanks for sharing. Time for a landscape tomorrow for you, I may get bad marks for it, landscape taken in portrait mode.

Hi Jay.
Very nice pictured scene again. I like your choice of captured scenery and excellent details of whole rich of content view. Your have controlled lighting perfectly: all tones (including white) are reflected perfectly. Only sharpness (for my taste) would be better to improve. Excellent done close-up. My best regards and TFS.
Alexei.
