Hi Jay,
and yet another reminder where we live, the frozen land of Canada. You have a nice low point of view angle for this shot and the ice covered rocks look somewhat like pyramids which really adds good visual interest, thank you for posting this one. Bob

The details here really allow one to appreciate the treacherous condition of the rocks at the ocean's rim. For all that I envy you your beautiful home, I am glad I needn't worry about slipping into the freezing ocean while I am out looking for the perfect shot.
Great colours and details, superb POV and dof

Hi Jay,
If the rocks were orange they would look like corn candy.
Very different capture, well composed, detailed and colored, I like the low light. This is a very nice posting, thanks.

Hello Jay,
This scenery looks like it was wrapped in plastic; the effect is most interesting. I think that I have never seen something similar... Early lightning is beautiful and so are those tones of colors. Well seen!

Hi Jay
They look like some really big Christmas hats :)))

Hi Jay.
Excellent work with flash. I like how you have illuminated nearest rocks. Very effective decision. Idea of your picture is great as well as its realization. Very expressive view, perfect detailed, sharpened and coloured. Bravo and TFS.
Alexei.
Hello Jay,
Cool shot..again!
Very well composed shot with excellent use of flash to fill the FG, and balance the exposure. Great FG detail and..frigid colors :)
I like the sky that has parted for you as well. Now when you get a shot of the sea parting, you'll be famous ;-}}
Very well done.
Really good shot - like the way the sloping cloud edge is mirrored by the slope of the rocks, plus the subject itself is unusal and therefore fascinating.

Jay,
Love your notes. You are quite a character.Love the "style".
Had never seen a "frozen rock" prior to this. Quite an education.
Truely, this is a great register.
Best regards,
Mario.

Hello Jay,
Very nice picture of these rocks on one side and with the atmospheric front on the other. Great moody colours and nicely combined flash and natural light.
Best greetings,

Hi Jay. This is a type of scene i have not seen as yet in my life, so it is very interesting to see how cold it can be some other places. Good POV clarity and colours. TFS. Murray.
