Hi Kevin
You captured this hawk nice and close but the colour is washed out. It's a bit hard to tell what kind of hawk he is. It's great he was looking at you when you took this. Keep those shots coming.

You make BEAUTIFUL photos of birds; it is not easy to do.
These creatures move, and move fast. You are a great
photographer. However, you have been, I think, and, I say this without prejudice, too quick on the draw.
Relax. Give your subjects more exposure.
From your MAGNIFICIENT captures I can see that you have great potential.Once more I'm 'work shopping' your work. This is a SWAINSON HAWK. Looks like it was "posing" just for you.I may not be able to brighten its eyes.
