Hi Jay,
Great atmosphere along with great scenery you have captured for us here. The composition is a real winner and ducks for me a bonus. Thanks Jay.

Hello Jay,
You have captured the storm and the rough waters very well. I feel like I'm there. WB is very appropriate to theme. The three ducks add a nice touch. Well done.
Regards,
Hakan
Hi Jay.
Your perfect composed shot is reflected the mood of stormy weather very well. I like your POV and exposure also as well as the note. Well done and TFS.
Alexei.
Hi Jay and sorry for the late "proper critique"
I've read your e-mail, too. I was gone on a trip to Slovakia and that's why i've been absent from TN (and any other internet actions for that matter).
As for the second e-mail - the nadpainting one - that's just terrific...i just look amazed for minutes.
Now for this lovely picture of yours:
I really like the composition here in the first place.
The dark rocks bring good attention to the FG, the trees look great on the horizon and the silhouettes of the birds are charming across the cloudy sky.
The details are very niec and sharp overall, too and the lighting is really, really great too. (i very much like the fact that you've mentained good definituion and light on the trees and far rocks).
All-in-all a wonderful post, my friend!
Bravo and TFS
Horia
Well done Jay,
The dark mood is pervasive in this one.
Reminds of the Doors of course.

Into this world were thrown

An actor out on loan
Riders on the storm"
See Ya! Wouldn't wanna be ya! ;}

Hi Jay
Wow...what a dramatic capture of the angry waves and sky. The ducks really add to the feeling of the day...if duck could talk...I'm not landing here! Nicely composed and balanced.
TFS Janice
Great capture of the ducks in flight up over the waves. Nice POV. On one knee or two? Did you have any problems with the wind and salt spray?
Cheers:)

Another well-composed shot of a storm passing over/through!!
I was mesmerized by the clouds/waves/seaspray, and then caught the tips of the trees in the BG that were also being buffeted by the wind.
Wonderfully expressive shot!!
Thanks
