[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is Harrison Lake as seen from Elk Mtn to the south. Harrison Lake is actually over 40 miles long and has two major islands. As you can see, it is surrounded by many rugged mountians.
A seasonal gravel road runs along it's west side, and this is seen as another potential route to Whistler, home of the 2010 Winter Olympics, but much work would need to be done in order to make this route feasible as a dependable year-round route.

What a beautiful scene, Tim.
I actually remember going to Harrison Lake when I visited my brother in Chilliwack.
A very scenic spot indeed.
I really like your composition here, and the light and colors are superb.

Hi Tim,
What a great panorama you have captured here, with the snow capped mountains as a backdrop. The composition with the trees in the foreground, lake in the middle and then the mountains gives this posting great depth.
