[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Along nature trails near Toronto, chickadees can be seen waiting for hikers to leave them some seeds. To capture this one, I lay down in the snow and waited for one of them to come near a bunch of pumpkin seeds someone had left.

I tried in vain different ways to remove the blue colour cast in the snow. Anyone knows how to for this image, I'll appreciate the tip?

Don't worry about the blue cast so much, as it is natural. I like this photo. Mainly because it is sharp, well composed, and the exposure seems bang on. The catch light in the bird's eye is very important, and you got it. Well done

I really like this picture!
All that bright white and just the chickadee, that is almost half white!
You got very good details on the feathers, excellent manage of the exposition to keep the white levels under control.
I like the composition made and the play with the light/shadows.

Hi Danel, a beatiful shot of the Chicadee, so endearing against the snow. Wonderful POV and great detail and light on the feathers. A lovely composition.

Hi Daniel,
Lovely little chickadee... Very sharp and you've done very well with the exposure, keeping detail on the bird against the white background. I also like the slight blue cast and wouldn't worry about it. You could use 81A filter, I suppose, or play with the WB. Regards,

Very good image.
The bird is depicted very well; good sharpness and detail and nice colours.
Dificult to get rid of the cast...
Maybe photoshop...selecting the snow area...and try to get rid of it with the blue slider
...trial and error:-)
