| I had been down at the other end of the beach taking pictures of rays in the water. When I started back to our camp, I saw this fellow ahead in the distance and started taking pictures. I walked slowly towards it and kept taking pictures thinking that it would get scared and fly away much sooner than it did. I think I took about 40 or more pictures prior to this one. I wanted to get a shot of it as it spread it's wings to fly away, but my Coolpix 990 sometimes needs time to think, so I missed it. This has been cropped a small amount from the original. |
