[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This drove me insane! These small manta would unexpextedly breach the water and "belly flop" back into the Ocean. After some observation I realized they would often do so in a series of 2 or 3 breaches in a row. The problem was there was no telling where or when, I often would hear the first splash in time to aim for the second breach, only to be out of focus. Of course these Manta would only be visible for about 1 second before disapearing again. This is my best result after about an hour in fading light. Hopefully my next trim to Puerto Vallarta will aford me another opportunity to try again.
