Popocatépetl: word náhuatl that means "Montaña humeante". It is the highest volcano of Mexico. Height: 5.452 east M.S.N.M. copretty volcano with 3 states of the country: Puebla, Mexico and Morelos.
Volcano poligeneticos: it registers a constant eruptiva history.

Localizacion: 19.2ºN, 98.62ºW. Its crater has a diameter of 850 meters and one depth of 300; in his Southeastern end there is a small lagoon. Formed on a primitive volcano called Nexpayantla, it does approximately 300 thousand years, the Popocatépetl is an active volcano that permanently throws smoke.

Altura: 5,452 M.S.N.M. este volcán colinda con 3 estados del país: Puebla, México y Morelos.
Volcán poligeneticos: registra una historia eruptiva constante.

Localizacion: 19.2ºN, 98.62ºW.

Su cráter tiene un diámetro de 850 metros y una profundidad de 300; en su extremo sureste hay una pequeña laguna.

Formado sobre un volcán primitivo llamado Nexpayantla, hace aproximadamente 300 mil años, el Popocatépetl es un volcán activo que permanentemente arroja humo.

Good idea to take this picture from an airplane, Ninfa!
That was to be impressive to see the Mount Popocatépetl from the top.
Well for a photo catch through port-hole. Thanks for sharing.

Una excelente captura, aunque debería criticar el encuadre un tanto centrado.
La belleza y colorido de ese coloso realmente es impresionante... a pesar de sus antecedentes inquietantes.

I suppose that you took the shot from an airplane. I can see some "dirty things" (from the windows?) at the photo.

Anyway, very nice view of this impressive volcano. Very nice colors Ninfa!
