Excellent shot, Ricardo! I was trying to get a photo of one of these birds this summer when my boat sunk... took my Nikon D70s with it! Arrrgh... good news was, it led to my getting the camera I now shoot with. Bad news... I never did get a nice photo of an Egret.

Thanks for sharing this image... it is crisp, clear, and beautiful. Love the natural blue wash behind... is that water or sky? Very nice!

Beautiful shot! The bright white head infront of the blue bg looks very attractive. Also the patterns in the bg look nice. I like the rich yellow colout on the bird,.. it goes well with the white and blue. Sharply focussed and excellent details. The texture of the bird's feathers is also clearly visible. Thanks for sharing.
