Scientific Name: Colobura Dirce Linnaeus
Diagnóstica Description:
Amplitude eave: of 35 to 37 mm similar Sexes. Previous wing of gray black color with one borders cross-sectional of yellow color. Later wing of gray black color, with costal margin and anal margin clear coffee.

Habitat:. Edges of forest, clear, secondary margins of gorge, and forests.

Service life:
Eggs: of white color, positions in groups from two to 10.
Larva in fifth stage: capsule of the head of bright black color, with two long horns of yellow color, in the margins of the capsule short thorns of black color. Body of aterciopelado black color, with rows of thorns in form of rosette of yellow color.
Pupa: cylindrical, elongada of brown color it resembles a trocito of trunk.

Feeding: The adults visit fruits in decomposition, secretions fermented in crusts and lees of mammals.

Behavior: The larvae in the first stages form chains in the ends of the nerves of the leaves. The larvae cut the main nerves of the leaf in the base and form stores where they rest.

Relations: Hospedera plant: Cecropia obtusifolia Bertol. (Cecropiaceae).

Distribution: From Mexico to Center, the South America and the Antilles.

Rara y linda especie de mariposa, me gusta su diseño. Los detalles y el encuadre son muy buenos. Solo pienso que necesitaría un encuadre (solo es mi opinión), y un retoque en el brillo y colores de la flor y tal vez eliminación de un poquito de ruido de fondo.
De todos modos tus fotos creo que son de las mejores de mariposas que hay en TN.
