Beautiful colours and detail. I would be tempted to rotate the composition diagonally. But I don't know if you have enough room to work with.

Very good detail and DOF Ricardo. Well isolated from the black BG. May I make a suggestion? Try using a small plastic, opaq lotion bottle or such, slit on one side, over your in-camera flash to diffuse the light. It works well in macro closeups such as this, to diffuse, fill and soften the light.

Hi Ricardo,
I don't know where you find all these great caterpillar shots, but I think there great. The exposure from you fill flash looks really good in this one. Very nice saturated colors and the detail is very sharp. They are alsways so well isolated with the black backrund. You can just feel the texture in this shot. Well done!
