Diagnóstica Description:
Amplitude eave: of 27 to 30 mm similar Sexes. Previous wing of color dark coffee. With white strip in the average area. 5 small manchitas of white color in the postaverage area. Later wing of color dark coffee. With postaverage white strip. A narrow strip of red color in the average area. A heavy line of red color in the winch.

Habitat: Secondary, wild of ways bordered by potreros, open areas.

Service life:
Eggs: of yellowish green color, solitary positions. Larva in fifth stage: capsule of the black head. With two horns with fine thorns in the axis. Black body with reddish spots and thorns. The body this place setting of fine graft thorns.
Pupa: green jade translúcido, with very few dark spots.

Feeding: The adults visit the flowers of Lantana camara

Relations:
Hospedera plant: Ruellia sp., Justice sp., Blechum sp., Dicliptera sp. (Acanthaceae).

Distribution: Of the South of the United States, Central America and this of Panama.

Hola Ricardo, esta mariposa, creo que puede ser la más común en Tabasco, siempre hay por lo menos una donde quiera que voy. Su color café es hermoso y contrasta muy bien con el rojo y blanco-amarillo de sus manchas. Creo que es la más comprensiva con los fotógrafos también pues no es de las que salen huyendo al ver las cámaras. En esta imagen coincido con Nico, me gusta su suavidad, captaste una suavidad uniforme de las hojas (que en ocasiones este tipo de hoja suelen captarse como resecas o en tonos muy mates y pálidos verdes-blancuzcos) y en el color de sus alas. Hasta los detalles de sus antenas son suaves, sin duda alguna, la composición transmite un sentimiento que hace disfrutarla de una manera especial. Gracias por compartirla con nosotros. Boa foto, boa macro. Cores, contraste e nitidez.
Tenho uma F828 e arrisquei a adquirir algumas lentes como: UV, polarizadora e um conjunto de close-up +1+2+4 (as vezes ajudam... as vezes atrapalham.. He... He... He...
De qualquer modo o sistema de macro da F828 é muito bom(!)
