This is a very interesting macro shot. Very good focus exactly where is the most important - the eyes of the insect. You manage very well the shallow DOF. Colours and exposure are also good. TFS

Hi Luis, I like this photo shot from an unusual, but effective perspective giving emphasis to the amazing insect eyes. Excellent detail and color! Very nice black background which really makes the yellow pop!

Hola Luis,

I was expecting a bird photo from You but this shot is great as well. I haven't done a lot of macro work in my 'career' but I might give it a try sometime. Photos like yours make the idea of shooting macros more inviting. Great work my Friend. TFS.

Great shot. The pov showing the eyes in this angle is excellent. May be the underparts are a little too bright, but overall the picture looks fantastic. Also good dark bg.

Wow this is a real close-up. Not just a tiny one. A real big and glamorous one. I am sure if I start counting I'll be able to tell you how many fine hairs are there on this insects paws. The detail of your photo is really stunning. This is a wonderful example of a good macro shot. Focus is spot-on. Thanks for sharing. It was most enjoyable to look at.

How in the world do you get close enough to get a shot like this???? The resident bunnies stay still for me but nothing else. You captured an amazing pose - eyes are fantastic. I love the position of the legs. Good work!

Eres tremendo Luis, en cualquier tipo de fotofrafía tienes un gran gusto, buena ténica y si a esto le añadimos originalidad, nos da como resultado este frontal de mariposa que impresiona, dándole una magnitud insólita. Excelente el enfoque a la cabeza . Buen equilibrio y acertado encuadre: fantástica !!
Por aquí sí, todos bien, pronto todos juntos ya que tengo un hijo conmigo y el otro por Italia; si aprueba todo lo tendré por aquí en un par de semanas. Es pájaro de altos vuelos jeje.

Excellent POV and focus on the head. Good light and colours. I am not a big fan of the pictures where you cannot see the whole insect, but it is well realized.
