Luis,

It has been a long time since I commented on one of your photos... Too long I'd say.
But anyways, I like pictures that stay in our memories for whatever reason. I think this pictures is just that - memorable. Even though the youngster is a bit out of focus, you can see concern / pride in the expression of the adult. Well done and well captured my friend - as always.

What a touching picture of the beautiful pair. And subject (not a focus) is key point of the shot. I am impressed with delicateness and unusualness of the colour palette of the shot. It is amazing. However, details and sharpness of the Mom are brilliant. I also like an interesting note. TFS and best regards.

Muy interesante la imagen de la madre y su cría que nos presentas.
Abundantes y bien controlados detalles en el claro plumaje de ambas.
Resalta de sobremanera el contraste del azul con el naranja que rodea al ojo de la madre.

Wonderful shot of this White-winged Dove couple with very impressive sharpness and soothing colours. The blue around its eye looks exquisite. Superb light handling and the BG is so special. Excellent DOF, POV and composition.

You are very scarce lately and I miss you around the site. You have presented us with a very ordinary yet special image. It is a special moment you have captured with mom and her youngster. The detail and clarity around the eye area of the older dove is really great. The colours is remarkable and vivid, especially the blue. It is interesting to see the little one is still pale and none of this bright colours is visible, I just wonder how when does this colours start to get visible? Thanks for sharing.

I love the overall tones of grey and pink in this capture and then the bright blue/red eye that really stands out! Brilliant. A very nice composition too!

Luis dostum, where have you been?
This is such a lovely pair in a finely simple composition, the mothers concern over its chick is evident even from here. That bright red-blue combination among the otherwise subdued colouration is really startling.
I made a WS from your fine image my friend, reducing the exposure and increasing the contrast, I hope the result is agreeable with you...

felicidades por el premio recibido,
yo me presenté a un concurso en Tenerife y quedé finalista el premio se lo llevó otro,
pero como bien dices tú, es cuestión de actitudes ante las cosas que no nos agradan...

preciosa captura, el ojo de esta paloma destaca a kilómetros, magnífico ambiente y tonos.
