Many Congratulations.I am glad you share our prize winning composition today in this special day with us.I love the melange of colours in this composition.The bird looks every bit a winner.It merges nicely into its surroundings yet stand out distinctly with its bold features, colours and details.Excellent sharpness and good DoF.Indeed one of the finest bird shots i have seen around here.

I am glad that you posted it on TN to show us this fine image taken 2 years ago. A wonderful capture beautifully composed among the berries with fine colours. I shall look for it in the March issue.

Hola Luis,

no entiendo el inglés pero sabía lo que ra un "contest" ... pues enhorabuena, además lógico que se reconozca tu labor ya que tus trabajos son realmente una delicia.
Creo entender que esta publicación ha salido en España, por lo que intentaré comprar hoy el último número o ya me dirás si ha de salir. Eso sí, me habrás de firmar un autógrafo :-))

Broma aparte, una bella toma. Encuadre casi inmejorabel y la compociión aprovecha bien los elementos que rodean al ave. Como en muchas de tus tomas, la luz y el color son los protagonistas, tratados en una medida justa, entre saturados y pastel, no se como definirlos.
Quizá el enfoque no sea perfecto, quizá la luz se dispare en algunos puntos, quizás se vea algo de ruido... da la impresión que hasta lo menos acertado da belleza.
Buen jurado !!!
