I am almost sure that at least two of this four fawns dont belong to this White Tailed Deer female, but she were very kind and give some fresh milk to all of them.

Photo taken in a Wild reserve near to the House where I was.

Saludos
Luis52.

Hi Luis,

This is an amazing shot. I don't think I've ever heard of a deer adopting another's fawns. No wonder she looks so thin! It's a great capture and a high quality image- sharp and well composed. I like the eye contact.

Hi Luis
You captured a very special moment between so many young fawn and a mother. It's so beautiful to see this. Love the composition and how they are situated in the shade of the tree. Truly special.

Hola amigo!
Ivan

This is strange, Luis, the mother has no spots!!! The Spotted deer we have here, have spots even when they're mature!
A lovely shot!

Hola Primo,

A wonderful capture of this mother and her fawns. Even if some aren't hers she has adopted them. The babies all are spotted so I'm wondering if she gave birth to any of them. She looks just like our Mule Deers. Marvelous scene which you have photographed perfectly.
