Ever felt someone is actually following you in the forest being fascinated with every move you make ? Well it was this petite stalker !
I was stunned by presence of this charmingly mysterious bird, to which it seemed I was just as much of a delight and curiosity as she was to me. I really felt rewarded with that soughtafter and hard earned moment of ,,discovery,, I always look for.
Of course I realise I am likely not the discoverer but I just felt that way, we both saw the other race for the first time and admired respectfully. To my amusement, she had full wings but it preffered racing on foot after me on the forest soil like a kiwi in New Zealand would, like a shy stalker ...
On a advice note, in case of aviary photography, I realised the morning light could spawn some shades of colours otherwise not visible trough the other stages of day, as afternoon being too harsh and dull and sunset is too weak for exposing the color array and you will be surprised how richer the shades of the palette truely are ...
Therefore, I learned that a colorful bird is always looking at its best in the first hours of the rising sun...

Another 'warm colours and light' picture! Very nice captured, I like it.

For me this is one of your best shots Radu. Exceptional sharpness, great eye-detail and a colourfull subject. The composition is great. Very well done on this masterpiece.
