When I was seated in the beach of Xcalac, I couldn't avoid to take this photo of the "corpse" of an strombus giga, the common names for Strombus gigas are queen conch, pink conch, caracol reina, caracol rosa, caracol rosado, caracol de pala, cobo, botuto, guarura, and lambí, Is an important fisheries species that has been over-harvested in many locations.
