Congratulations on turning 40 Patty! The magic age when life really begins...;-)
I really like how this "Little Snake" picture came out. Did you see "War of the Worlds" w/ Tom Cruise? The pic reminds me of some of the creatures used in the movie.
The excellent focus on the head is great, and then it tapers off leaving the emphisis where it belongs and the imagination to work out the rest.

Nice capture. The snake is the Mexican Parrot Snake (Leptophis mexicanus).
