Place: Montebello national park, Mexico.
About 50 lakes are hidden in the forest near the border with Guatemala. No rivers or streams, all lakes are fed by undergroud water.
The picture was taken in Laguna Ensueño using a circular polarizer filter that eliminated the reflection. The brances are under water, fallen trees from the forest around the lake. |
