Hi Cousin,

I don't know how you get so close to these wonderful birds. They are so elusive - you must work magic on them. Beautiful picture of this one posing so nicely. Sharp details and lovely colors. The background is wonderful. What does he have in his beak?

Look at the little thing with seed in it's mouth. How cute is that. Not only a good ID shot but a personal shot...almost something the aviary world keeps in its memory! Very nice Luis and perfect...I would never try to fix this one!

Splendid! I like this image very much. It is just beautiful. You are very lucky to have such a cute little bird around your house that is willing to play the ideal photographic model. (I had a similar experience with a kingfisher, which I used as my first posting on Trek Nature) You have captured this bird in a lovely full frontal pose, showing the inside of the tail piece feathers beautifully. It has such a small marble like black eye. The insect in its beak is a great plus and adds a special touch to this lovely image. Thanks for sharing.
