Hola senor Luis, what a nice picture of this butterfly. I love the saturated colours, the perfect dof and sharpness. I like the way it is sharp against the blurred background, is gives a feeling of 3D. Superb shot, Luis, congratulations.

Otra vez una muy buena toma una mariposa, casi perfecta!
Pero no es una especie de Papilionidae. Esta fantástica foto muestra una especie de Pieridae, Catasticta flisa, 'the Narrow-banded Dartwhite'
Felicidades amigo, es la primera vez en TN por esta especie!

Hi Luis. We have a lot of beautiful butterfly pictures on TN and this is one of them . you have captured this one with your sharp focusing and fine detail. The way you have used the light has given bright colours. A nice pose on the orange flower. well done TFS.

Although I'm concerned with European species of butterflies but sometime like to look at exotic species. Yours have interesting shape of wings, colours and pattern. All the details are sharp, smooth BG, all is composed very well.

a fine picture of this Catasticta species. Sharpness is excellent
and the specimen stands out very clear, in addition.
'Argus' is right with his identification. Battus polydamas looks quite different.
