The Pink Guacamayo is natural of the Américas. Its location includes/understands from Mexico to Brazil and Bolivia.

It lives in the tropical forests. It is documented to him from the level of the sea to the 900 meters of elevation.

It is possible that this he is guacamayo better well-known in general. He is very popular in the poultry keeping and one has stayed like mascot by several centuries, that is known, perhaps more. Young without difficulty in captivity and is able to speak. In fact it is difficult to ignore his colors, size, and docile disposition. Although in the nature its fortune is not so favorable, every day its habitat is reduced, and its distribution diminishes.

In appearance much is resembled guacamayo red. They are possible to be differentiated with facility since guacamayo pink has the yellow wings and it does not have pens in the face. The Red Guacamayo has the green wings and in the face it has small pens that form red lines around the eyes. It nests in the hollows of the trees. The nidada one consists of two or three eggs. The pigeon leaves the egg without pens and depends on the attention of the parents in its totality.

This guacamayo obtains from 80 to 96 cms of length and a weight of 900 grams.

To guacamayo pink also it is called guacamayo red and guacamayo to him scarlet. In English is known him by scarlet macaw; in Portuguese by it arara-canga.

Excelente retrato de este precioso guacamayo.
Los detalles del plumaje y el colorido son alucinantes. Uno puede pensar que la iluminación de arriba no ayuda mucho pero en este caso evita sobreexponer areas claras de la cara y le da intensidad al rojo.

Very nice shot! The POV is very interesting and works really well. I just have feeling that the framing is too tight and I would like to see a bit more space under the beak. Picture has very good details and colours. The BG is nice too, though maybe a bit distracting because of the bright elements there.
