Hello Nick
A very nice photo of this purple wildflower. We have that one growing around here too.It is very fragrant, and my mother use to refer to it as a wild stock variety.Well focused and with sharp detail.TFS

Hi Nick,
Nice sharp image, looks like Dames Rocket, Hesperis matronalis, a pretty plant, brought over here from Europe in the 17th century, but it's sometimes invasive.
It kind of looks like some of our native Phlox, but it's 4 petals tell that it's in the mustard family and not a Phlox which has 5 petals.
Thanks,
John
