Raspberry Slime Mold, Tubifera ferruginosa, a species of slime mold found pretty much all over the world in appropriate habitat, i.e forests on dead, well-rotted wood.
The common name comes from them somewhat resembling a red raspberry at some stages, but as they mature, they become a dusty, brown color as the spores develop. This fruiting body was about 8mm across. |
