[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This wetland in the Southern Illinois/Shawnee National Park area is an important refuge for wild life, especially many birds such as herons and egrets. I great egret can be seen between the two trees.

Hi Bill!

I like the simplicity of this picture and the nature it shows very much. The egret is a bit lost in your picture, but the wilderness and the fresh green of the abundant vegetation are marvellous. I also like the division in three vertical parts.
