A milkweed seed pod, possibly common milkweed, photographed at Summit Lake State Park in Indiana.

It amazes me how something so harsh and uninviting as the milkweed pod can contain such delicate beauty as these seeds.

Hello Randy,

Beautifully captured seeds with wings leaving the pod. Excellent whites that shine like a nylon strings are just stunning against the blue sky.
