"To Be Or Not To Be.. that is the Question" Shakespeare.. (Hamlet)
Hi TN friends,
I found this uprooted tree when walking on a long trail in the woods and stood for a while contemplating whether it was nature that was the cause of the tree's demise or it was the cruel intervention of mankind into the natural ecosystem. When the tree was alive, how many birds would have happily lived and sang on its branches... Even when the tree is uprooted, it does give a place for the bird to perch.
There is an old saying in our language, which came to my mind..
If a trees falls, it is still useful for us.. but if man falls.. then of what use is he!
Let us strive to make our lives better and use this precious gift of life in the best possible way.
Thanks for looking,
Thanks for reading.
Cheers

Hello Sangeeta
More philosphical but look at the sorroundings of this fallen tree. All are green. They dont realise that one day they will also be in the same fate. Thought for the weekend. Good composition. Ganesh
The tree seems to be the victim of high wind, Sangeeta, and I do espy a bird perched on one of its dead branches.
Apparently, you have a theme picture here which, as Ganesan put it, tends to evoke a philisophic mood on the nature of the material world.
I like the soft green tones in the image.
TFS and regards.
Ram
