Hesperis matronalis
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Hesperis matronalis [Cruciferae (Brassicaceae)], or Dame’s Rocket, is native to Europe, now a well-established xenophyte in North America. A tall plant, up to 90 cm in height, it carries lovely clusters of typical crucifer flowers, up to 2.5 cm in diameter.
BTW, in Israel we have only one species of this genus, H. pendula, quite rare, and found at higher elevations. |

Hi Ishi,
Very nice colors. I would increase DOF in PP. is the foamy thing on the stalk caused by spittle bugs?

Bonjour Ishi,
Très belle composition dans un cadrage serré bien éclairé qui fait bien ressortir les détails. Le nom français de cette fleur qui semble assez répandu est "Julienne des dames".
A bientôt sur TN pour de nouvelles aventures.
