[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Don't do as I did & destroy an egg sac like this one. It is a praying mantis, a good insect for eating other pests. When I was removing bag worms from my blue spruce I found this & removed it too. They are not all shaped like this one. A friend gave me one attached to a twig once & it did not look like this, smaller & a different shape. I got to see the young after they hatched out, there were hundreds of them on my shed. I will post a side view of it tomorrow.
