[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
When ducks do their best Polar Bear Club imitation, no matter how sunny the February morning, it looks just plain chilly!

Cropped, ran USM (2x), and framed in The Gimp. Foreground sharpness could, admittedly, be improved, but I don't see a better place to crop the image without sacrificing too much of what it conveys. I'm open to workshops, of course.

The frame really suit the photo indeed
thanks for sharing

Tony

A very good description of you clarity issue and you are aware of what you are doing to "fix" it, yet this picture sticks out due to its cacophony of color. Normally I would have left out a frame, but the frame actually adds to the blend...Pretty coooool Shot.

Hi Jim,

I love it!! The overall scene is wonderful and each individual duck has good details and color. Having the water and the ice in one frame is great!
