I found this yellow mushroom growing underneath one of our pine trees. I thought it might be a type of Amanita, but it doesn't have the raised whitish bumps that seem to be characteristic of them.

Hi Ron,

An attractive mushroom, and photographed with great detail and sharpness. Does it have gills or pores underneath? It looks like Suillus americanus from the top, but without knowing what's underneath, there's no hope of ID'ing it with any certainty.
