[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is a photo of a Whitetail Doe and her fawn that I took today while at Salt Fork State Park. Rosie and I were on our way home from a long weekend trip to Pennsylvania when we decided to stop at Salt Fork.

We saw quite a few deer throughout the park, although most were does with their fawns. These two seemed to pose for us as we stopped the car and took their picture.

We usually go on a two or three day weekend trip every October around this time, just to view the Fall leaves. This year we decided to go to Ohio Pyle State Park, which is located in south western Pennsylvania.

The leaves were at their peak coloration in just a few scattered spots, but we still had a great time hiking trails and just being together.

Hi Ron,
Very nice capture of the doe and faun. Focus on the eyes is spot on with nice catchlights. Hope you are enjoying the 5D2. I am strongly considering the 7D right now.
Regards,
Greg

Hi Ron,
beautiful presentation of these deers in great natural environment.
Nice sharpness with gret pose by them. The gile eyes are lovely and the capture is very lively too.
Well done.

Foozi

Hello Ron,
Wonderful image, very good details and composition.
Well done!
Marius.

I have so many images of Salt fork...although I have to admit I do not have any real animals or bugs......sometimes from about 1973-5 in that era.... even Jane was trekking with a pack and our youngest was the only one....Jr. now 41...times change...you have a nice place there..I have been on the ferry/boat...and hiked the paths but you were the one who got lucky!

One awesome shot, ron. I love the emotion a parent-offspring shot brings out. The details of both the doe and her fawn are very sharp, the environment and light are perfect!
Bravo!

Hello Ron,
Beautifully captured & composed the synchronous eye contacts of the Whitetail Doe and her fawn in a very stunning environment. It goes to my favorites straightway. Thanks for sharing.

Hallo Ron
This is a great image with lots of character to it. I love the way these two Deer's are looking straight at you making direct eye contact. I find the markings on their faces very interesting and it fascinates me to look at it. To me it is unique. You have captured details like the big black eyes, rigid and open ears and the fluffy tail of the fawn with great clarity. This is my kind of image as I adore images with younger animals as part of it. Thanks for sharing. Kind regards.
Anna
