| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This duck (species unknown) was alone in its trek upstream on the Rocky River in Cleveland, Ohio. The debris reminded me of an aligator, so the chance meeting held some humour for me.
The Rocky River Valley is bound by 350 million year old shale cliffs and along its trails, there is an ancient Indian fort as well as a special wildlife habitat management area where deer, fox, rabbits, pheasants, quail and other wildlife are often seen.
If anyone recognizes this species, please let me know. Many Thanks. |
