Luckily for me, this couple didn't mind me interupting their "tender" moment. Unlucky that, soon after, I slpped on the water and landed on my backside....

Hi Chris!

I'm certainly not the best critique writer concerning wildlife photography, so take my comments as what they are: just a personal and subjective opinion.

I like the low point of view you have chosen, maybe you should have moved to the right or left to avoid the rock in the foreground that is a bit too big. Then, I would have tried to apply the rule of the thirds. That means the frogs, who are the centre of interest, should be more on the right, at the last third. In your picture there is almost emptiness. When the spectator has seen the frogs, his eyes go to the right and only find the water. I know, it's easy to say... I invite you to read about the technique of composition. You also find a lot of good tips in the forum of TN.

The colors and the shaprness are very good, and the overall impression on your picture is very pleasant.

Kind regards
Markus
