[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This was taken from my kayak, so I was able to get a little closer.

This is a Greater Yellowleg. A very common shorebird.

It summers in Alaska and Central Canada and winters in the southern U.S.

29 -33 cm (11-13 in) with a wingspan of 60 cm (24 in)

Diet occasionally includes berries and seeds, but mostly small fish, invertabrates and small frogs.

Hi Chris,
Good action while walking. Low POV makes the photo very nice. Well done. TFS. Mustafa
