Okay, okay...so it's not really a monster. But it beats me taking pictures of my cousin Larry, in a chicken suit, in the backyard. (Unfortunate true story.)
This is a Cormorant. Fish eating birds found in both fresh and salt waters. There are 36 species found throughout the world.
Spending most of the time in water, however they have no water proofing oil.
And like myself, Cormorants have a reputation for being clumsy on land. |

jeez, iŽd really like to see your cousin Larry, in a chicken suit. *lol* put it on treklens, ok?
essex, very britsh, in connecticut, ok, i just saw there is a lebanon in connecticut too, but i guess not a loch ness?
anyway, to make things short: i like your dead pigeon swimming on the water or is it a duck..ok, cormorant, very nice clear
and close shot - although the use of "shot" together with waterfowl might not be so good -
with a great low pov above the watersurface and good sharpness.
well done & best wishes, thor.
Hi Chris,
great close up of the big duck/monster..:o) Good color and sharp focus. So when do we get to see the picture of your cousin Larry in the chicken suit? ha ha
